Designed by NC Design & Architecture, the new Hong Kong located restaurant is disguised with an entrance that draws from a traditional Thai grocery store. The restaurants interior also draws on themes of film sets, shops houses and traditional Thai architecture.



PNY’s (Paris New York) new shop in Marais designed by CUT Architectures is inspired by 1980’s Miami.  Mixing a minimal industrial decor with funky neon gradients the new restaurant breaks from its previous locations black and white identity.


Designed by Teresa van Dongen, who studied Biology at the University of Amsterdam, has created a lamp using bacteria that emit a glow when oxygen and movement are introduced to the environment.


This New York loft conversion by local architect Ali Tayar is divided using bespoke prefabricated panels based on a Swiss modular housing system from the 1960s.

The system is separate from the shell of the building, allowing for all the panels to be dissembled and put into boxes for removal.

Mobile homes usually are poorly designed, constructed or inefficient, but these homes show the trend of making the most of smaller homes and utilizing every inch of a floorplan plan.

Inspired by traditional Peruvian cloth weaving equipment, El Equipo Creative stretched thick cords across wooden frames to create angled panels for the restaurants interior.
A grid of wooden batons located at the bar, and storefront serves as a display shelving for bottles and crockery.

Located in Montauk, New York, the area is known for its unpredictable weather patterns, and Genius Loci was built to capture the “Spirit of Montauk”.

The site used to be home to a horse ranch with a lush green pasture, the building is clad in cedar shingles that will naturally weather over time. And a wood screen bridge to connect the two structures.

The interior utilizes large sliding glass doors that make you feel as if you’re outdoors.
Warm woods, balance out the white walls giving it a beach house feel.

Located in the Cha-Am Beach resort, Thailand, Bear House by Onion Architects was built for the Sahawat family who needed a place to showcase their collection and passion for Bearbrick. Wall art by Thai artists MMFK and P7 add a playful atmosphere to the rest of the houses neutral tones.

Eligable for the LEED Gold  certification for sustainability and green design, LA based architectural firm Cuningham Group has renovated their new office using such things as outdoor/indoor gardens, light sensors, and shipping containers.
